About us
Who are we?
The Skriptekommission (SKK) is a non-profit student organisation at the University of St. Gallen. Founded in the winter of 1968/1969 by four committed students, we have been firmly anchored in everyday life at the HSG as an initiative of the Student Body (SHSG) ever since.
Our mission: Providing HSG students with all lecture materials as cheaply as possible. This includes theory and exercise books as well as approved calculators and other learning materials. A central part of our work is personal advice: If you know your courses, we will recommend the appropriate materials directly to you.
The SKK is run by a small, dedicated team of students from all disciplines and levels of study. Friendship, team spirit and responsibility are at the heart of what we do. After just a short time, motivated employees have the opportunity to take on leadership roles and gain valuable practical experience.
Our offices are traditionally located in the SHSG building. The Skriptekommission shop is located at Varnbüelstrasse 19 on the university campus. Stop by, we’re happy to help!
